A family enterprise – by conviction
Relations from one person to another, diligence, honesty and commitment. These are the ideals and values on which senior owner Georg Nolte bases his leadership of the company.
His grandfather, who was also called Georg and laid the cornerstone for the furniture dynasty in 1932, has instilled this attitude in him. Grandfather Georg Nolte has three sons. Konrad, the eldest, founds a furniture production in Germersheim in 1955. Only three years later he establishes Nolte Küchen in Löhne, located in the region of East Westphalia. What starts out with 70 employees at the time develops into Germany’s second largest kitchen brand with around 1,300 members of staff. Despite its size the company is still family-owned to the present day
Our kitchens are as individual as their owners. Here, you will find your dream kitchen: suiting the room, suiting your budget and completely tailored to your taste and personal requirements. Be it classic or modern, matt or high-gloss, small or large – we would not be Germany’s second biggest kitchen brand if we could not live up to your expectations! It is not without reason that we export to over 50 countries worldwide, too, whilst producing solely in Germany.
We stand for variety and service. Reliability and continuity are important to us. To make sure you are always in the best hands we train our staff and partners. Our kitchens are available through qualified specialist retailers only. As they consist of complex, highly functional furniture it is important that an expert guides you through the buying process, someone who gives you advice and knows best about planning.
When your order reaches us we need about six weeks until delivery. Your kitchen is made especially for you, customised to meet your exact requirements. Your order is carefully reviewed and then forwarded to production. Here, every part is individually manufactured, packaged and matched to the other components. Again and again we make quality checks. It is a meticulous process involving state-of-the-art technology and we always make sure it all runs smoothly. That also applies to the delivery and installation of your kitchen by trained fitters. Your satisfaction is our benchmark of service!
A strong brand is a strong partner
The Nolte Küchen brand stands for exceptional quality, for diversity and service, reliability and continuity. Good is not good enough for us. We want to be better than average. That applies to the materials we use and also to conceptual work, technology and design. With foresight and vision our management makes sure that we abide by these standards.
Nolte Küchen is already Germany's most popular kitchen brand since 2015 - for the third time in a row. This was the result of a study carried out every two years by the German Institute for Service Quality (DISQ) on behalf of the news channel n-tv. Nolte Küchen successfully prevailed against 13 other brands in the overall ranking and once again took the first place.
We achieved exceptionally good values in the categories of product quality, design and brand image Customer satisfaction and the above-average price-performance ratio also played a role in the study.
Producing quality - and maintaining it
Nowadays, every kitchen looks different. Delivering “in time” means maximum possible precision in the production processes.
Automation and qualification
All handling of door fronts, worktops, units etc. as well as the refinement of surfaces and edges is being carried out in optimised processes using fully automated, computer-controlled machinery. Combined with the finishing touches added by our qualified employees this results in a precision that goes far beyond the “quality of craftsmanship”.
We are part of the Nolte Group with headquarters in Germersheim in the southwest of Germany. About 2.700 people are employed under the roof of the Nolte Holding. Innovative strength, sustainability and foresight are important guiding principles. All members of the Nolte Group produce solely in Germany. Apart from Nolte Küchen these are:
Nolte Möbel (furniture). Founded in 1955 by Konrad Nolte the company specialises in customised wardrobes and bedroom furniture and has since become one of the major furniture manufacturers in Europe. Nolte Möbel is located in Germersheim, with a 3.300 square metre exhibition and training centre on site.
DRUM Systeme This company is also located in Waldmohr and has grown from a family enterprise. What began as a carpenter’s workshop in the early 60’s has become one of the leading producers of glass and partition walls. DRUM was integrated into the Nolte Group in 1999. Orders today don’t only come in from Europe, but from all over the world.
Express Küchen Nolte Küchen has MATRIX 150, Express Küchen operates with System 15. Since 2010 the company produces standardised kitchens for the budget entry level. Express Küchen is located in Melle, not far from Löhne and Nolte Küchen, on the former Habemat production site. Six front ranges provide matt and high-gloss finishes and offer a great choice of modern décors at a low cost – but in the usual high quality.
Express Möbel Standardised, self-assembly cabinets that are produced in an economic, fully automated process are the signature feature of Express Möbel. The company was founded in the year 2000 and has catered for a niche market ever since. The roomy, functional wardrobes with sliding or hinged doors offer a lot of variety in design as well as many practical details and are an eye-catcher in every bedroom.
Responsibility and ecology are part of our identity
Going easy on natural resources, keeping the air and water clean and promoting sustainability. These are the three pillars for responsible, ecological actions that have been deeply rooted with Nolte Küchen for years.
During production for example state-of-the-art filter systems facilitate manufacturing without harmful substances. Furthermore, all packaging is made from environmentally friendly materials that can be recycled. And as there are things that are more important than a kitchen, we also and exclusively support sustainable forestry: Our wood is procured under fair conditions. Fair towards the people involved, fair towards nature. This way forests retain their characteristics that deserve protection. Plantations for which areas of natural forest have been sacrificed (after 1994) are off-limits. So are genetically modified farming or illegal use of forests. This commitment has been officially acknowledged: Nolte Küchen is PEFC-certified and was also one of the first kitchen manufacturers to be awarded FSC®-certification.
