The Westhof complex features a semi-public roof terrace as a social meeting place and event location, as well as community gardens maintained by the residents. Hochbord places emphasis on sustainability and environmental protection: the Westhof project received SNBS certification (Standard Nachhaltiges Bauen Schweiz) and uses energy-efficient solutions such as solar energy and LED lighting. The construction promotes biodiversity and integrates nature into the urban environment.
