Metal as a trend in the kitchen

Metal is the material of the moment. It combines industrial character with authenticity and is considered one of the top materials, even for high-end professional kitchens. For a long time, this material was reserved for industrial applications. It was primarily used where high durability was more important than appealing aesthetics. Metal had nothing homely or cozy about it and appeared rather cold and distant. It only became acceptable with the arrival of the Industrial Style in residential spaces. Here began the combination of materials such as steel and concrete from industrial use with classic residential materials such as wood and lacquer.
Metal as a design element
Nowadays, metal has become indispensable as a design element in the kitchen as well. The clever combination, for example with plain colours and homely elements such as wood, transforms the kitchen into a modern oasis of well-being.
Our favourite combinations
The FERRO is a front with a real metal surface. For this reason, it is also magnetic, allowing the kitchen to be converted into a pinboard when needed. Choose the METAL front if you prefer an authentic reproduction of the metal look. It impresses with its astonishingly realistic appearance. Certain combinations of these fronts create very special effects. Here are our favourites:
FERRO Blue steel + SOFT LACK Arctic white
With this combination of fresh Arcticweiß and metallic blue you set highlights. The wall cabinet shelves CUBE are a great addition. Their likewise Arcticweißen, movable sliding elements create a strong contrast.

FERRO Corten steel + NOVA LACK White high gloss
The rust look of FERRO Cortenstahl combined with the white shelves of the NOVA LACK range creates a harmonious appearance. Go one step further: The MatrixArt recessed handles of this handleless kitchen can be illuminated.

METAL Steel Grey + LUX White High Gloss
The front METAL in Steel Grey combined with the LUX in White High Gloss proves that you don't necessarily need a large budget or a huge space for an all-around feel-good kitchen. This kitchen impresses particularly with its amazingly realistic metal appearance, which continues into the worktop.
