Naturally Nolte
We do not see sustainability as a trend. Sustainability means for us to cultivate a respectful interaction with people, the environment, and nature.
The first thing that comes to mind is climate and environmental protection. But sustainable management encompasses much more. For us at Nolte Küchen, it means assuming long-term responsibility - towards the environment, society, employees and our economic activities. As a kitchen manufacturer with decades of tradition, we have set ourselves the task of developing a comprehensive sustainability strategy that scrutinizes and develops all of our business activities. In doing so, we are guided by the requirements of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), which obliges us to disclose our impact on the environment and society as well as our governance structures in a comprehensive and comprehensible manner. The report makes transparent what Nolte Küchen stands for: High quality and durability, which lead to the sustainable use of raw materials, but also respectful relationships with employees and suppliers have been firmly anchored in our company since it was founded in 1958.
NOLTE GLOSSARYCorporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)
The CSRD is an EU directive that obliges companies to report comprehensively on their environmental, social and governance impacts. The aim is to make sustainability transparent and comparable - similar to financial reporting.
Our value chain
From raw materials to the finished kitchen: Sustainability accompanies every step of our value creation. We assume responsibility along the entire chain – from the procurement of materials through production and logistics, to usage by our end consumers. In doing so, we emphasize fair partnerships, resource-efficient processes and durable solutions. Because only those who understand where and how value is created can also design it sustainably.
