Quality meets responsibility.

A modern kitchen with green cabinets and an island in an open space. Nolte Kitchen.

Well thought out – from start to finish

Durable. Resource-saving. Thoughtful.

Our kitchens and furniture impress not only through design and functionality, but also through responsibility. Already during product development, we focus on durable materials, efficient processes, and environmental compatibility. At all our locations, we rely on 100% certified green electricity. The recyclability of our products also plays a central role – for a closed material cycle. Certifications such as PEFC or Blauer Engel confirm our standards. At the same time, we continuously work to make our products even more resource-friendly.

Durability

A long-lasting product is inherently sustainable – that's why quality is our focus. Our kitchen furniture is manufactured to high standards and undergoes comprehensive testing processes. This applies to materials as well as construction, function, and processing. Awarded the RAL quality mark “Golden M,” our furniture meets the strictest requirements for stability, durability, safety, and health compatibility. Additionally, we promote long-term use over many years with repair and spare parts offerings. This saves resources and protects the environment.

Residential Health

We rely on low-emission materials and were awarded the best emission class (A) by the Deutsche Gütegemeinschaft Möbel for our furniture. This creates a healthy indoor climate – for a good feeling in your own four walls. In addition, regular inspections permanently ensure the highest standards.

Made in Germany

Our kitchens are created where our company has its roots: in Germany. At our three plants in Löhne and Melle, we consistently rely on in-house production – from the first product idea through development and construction to assembly and quality control and final shipping. Every detail is planned and executed with the utmost care. This comprehensive understanding of quality is reflected in every product. This regional production stands for reliability, precision, and sustainability. Through short transport routes, modern manufacturing processes, and preferred collaboration with partners from the region – such as our chipboards, which come from Germany by 86% – we reduce emissions and strengthen the location.

For us, “Made in Germany” is far more than a label: It is a commitment to quality, responsibility, and future security.

Circular economy

We think products in the circular cycle. Therefore, we are continuously working on increasing the recycling content in our materials and at the same time improving the reusability of our products. Already today, a large portion of our wood-based materials consists of recycled wood. Even with plastics, we are increasingly relying on recyclates – for example, with a 30% recycling content in our waste collectors. At the same time, we optimize the separability of our materials to facilitate pure sorting for recycling at the end of the product lifecycle. In this way, we actively promote the circular economy in furniture production.

Nolte GlossaryWhat is circular economy?

Circular economy refers to a system in which resources are used, reused, repaired, and recycled as long as possible – with the aim of avoiding waste and conserving natural raw materials.

Packaging

Securely packaged – with the least possible environmental impact. At Nolte Küchen, we continuously develop our packaging solutions to conserve resources and reduce waste. We focus on recyclable, homogeneous materials and increasingly avoid unnecessary plastic components. At the same time, we ensure an optimal balance between product protection and material use – always with the goal of making packaging more environmentally friendly and efficient.

Through regular testing processes and close collaboration with our partners, we ensure that new requirements are implemented promptly – for packaging that meets the requirements of the circular economy.

Sustainable forestry

Wood is one of the most important raw materials for our kitchen furniture – that is why we take special responsibility here. Over 99% of the woods we use come from sources that meet the standards of sustainable forestry. In doing so, we rely on recognized certifications such as FSC® and PEFC.

This form of forestry ensures that forests are preserved in the long term, only as much wood is removed as grows back, and ecological as well as social standards are upheld. In this way, we make an active contribution to the protection of resources and biodiversity – right from the very beginning of our value chain.
