The kitchen has long been more than just a place to cook; rather, it has established itself as the heart of everyday life. Current kitchen trends are characterized by natural colors and materials, matte finishes, and open floor plans where the living and cooking areas blend seamlessly. Design solutions are in demand that go beyond individual cabinet fronts and pieces of furniture, offering instead a well-thought-out color concept that combines functionality with individuality and design. With its mat lacquer concept, Nolte Küchen has created a color palette that allows for creative yet confident planning. There are six front variants to choose from, 20 coordinated colors that can be perfectly combined, a handle available in the same shades, and the exact matching tone for the wall. Whether monochromatic or contrasting — here you have the freedom to think boldly.

Nolte Küchen's mat lacquer concept opens up new design possibilities for modern kitchens and living spaces
Design in monochrome. Experience spaciousness.
Choosing kitchen cabinet fronts, furniture, and walls in the same color creates a sense of spaciousness and a calm, clean atmosphere. The tone-on-tone look visually organizes the room, reduces contrasts, and allows individual elements to blend harmoniously.

Create contrast. Show character.
If you prefer a livelier look, play with contrast. Bold matte lacquer colors like SOFT LACK in Henna Red meet warm wood tones like LEAF in Noce Marone — and suddenly the kitchen becomes a statement piece. Contrasts add depth, define areas, and give the room a clear identity. The highlight: even handles and wall paint can be either harmoniously integrated or deliberately used as accents. This creates unique compositions that make a bold statement yet remain cohesive, as everything is based on a shared color palette.

Choose timeless colors. Create a natural atmosphere.
With the addition of greige and cashmere, the existing color palette has been expanded to include two new natural shades. Nolte Küchen now offers a subtly nuanced color palette ranging from Magnolia to Lava, providing a virtually endless selection of modern earth tones.

Form Meets Color

Kitchen Innovation Award 2026
The fact that this concept is a winner is further confirmed by its receipt of the 2026 Kitchen Innovation Award. The award is one of the few industry prizes where, in addition to expert evaluation, the perspective of end consumers plays a key role in the decision-making process. After a preliminary selection by a jury consisting of representatives from architecture, gastronomy, and other industry experts, the final selection is made by consumers themselves as part of an independent market research study.
