Our mission statement

The kitchen is the room of rooms. We probably live more, and more intensively here than anywhere else in the home. It is the place where we meet, where we encounter others. As family or friends. As a couple. We cook, eat and enjoy ourselves in the kitchen. And sometimes we have all the time in the world as we do so. We argue. And make up again. We read, write, send emails, post messages. And maybe philosophise a little. And - quite secretly - the kitchen sets the rhythm of our day. Good morning. Then midday. Then evening. And sometimes night as well ... which is why we love the kitchen.

Facts & figures

Our Nolte kitchens are created on a production site measuring around 113,000 m² in Löhne and Melle. Our quality promise "Made in Germany" is part of our global success. That is also confirmed by our export rate of 36% – every day, 880 Nolte kitchens, so some 1.7 million units every year, are shipped to more than 60 countries. Our customers show their gratitude: Nolte Küchen has been voted Germany's favourite kitchen brand for the third time in succession. A success that is due entirely to our approximately 1,400 competent staff.

Our staff

"Made in Germany" also means a commitment to Germany as a location. Which includes the promise to give young people a perspective, and to provide training places and jobs. We are pleased to accept the associated responsibility as a member of the employer initiative "Charta der Vielfalt" - "Charter of Diversity". Because "... our staff are our most important capital," as Georg Konrad Nolte said on the occasion of the company's 50th anniversary. Back then, the company employed only around 1,100 people; today we have a workforce of some 1,400. Many of them are former trainees and apprentices who, thanks to their high level of competence, are able to ensure the excellent quality of our kitchens.

Responsibility for the environment

As a successful German company, we are aware of our tremendous responsibility towards preserving natural resources, keeping air and water clean, and to acting sustainably – from the production to the shipping of our kitchens. The figures for the emissions of harmful substances from our materials are significantly lower than the legal requirements. Modern filter systems ensure that no harmful substances are able to escape into the environment during production. And when the time has come that we are able to deliver your kitchen to you, we only use environmentally friendly packaging materials that can be recycled. By doing so, we are able to provide the best conditions for a healthy life with your kitchen.
