Shashlik with Meat and Vegetables

Recipe idea: Shashlik with meat and vegetablesYou will need the following ingredients for this:

150 g beef fillet, 150 g lamb meat from the loin (lamb fillet), 3 tbsp oil, salt, freshly ground black pepper, ground coriander, 2 small zucchini, 100 g cocktail tomatoes, 100 g medium-sized brown mushrooms, also wooden or metal shashlik skewers

Preparation

  1. Rinse both types of meat with cold water to your liking, pat dry well and cut into bite-sized cubes. Mix 3 tbsp oil with salt, pepper and coriander and turn the meat in it.
  2. Wash and trim the zucchini, then cut into 1 cm thick slices. Wash the tomatoes. Clean the mushrooms and wipe with a damp cloth, halve large mushrooms.
  3. Preheat the grill. Thread all ingredients alternately onto skewers, seasoning evenly with salt and pepper all around.
  4. Sear the skewers all around on the grill. Reduce the heat and continue grilling the skewers for approx. 5 min., turning occasionally.
