Kitchentalk with Marcus Ehning

Kitchentalk - we took it literally. With Eva Brenner and our guest, Olympic gold medal team winner Marcus Ehning, we are bringing more life into the kitchen.

Join Eva Brenner and Marcus Ehning for a deep dive into the world of horses and show jumping. In our Kitchentalk, Marcus tells us how his passion for horses and his fascination with show jumping began. Perhaps he also chats with us about his successful participation in the Olympic Games and also describes what it's like to experience the event as an Olympic athlete. So, sit up and hold the reins!

A passionfor show jumping

Everyone dreams of turning a hobby into a profession. Marcus Ehning has been living this dream for many years now, and very successfully at that. He already competed in his first riding competitions when he was a child. Since then, Marcus Ehning, one of the greatest stylists in show jumping, has won many medals at the Olympics, World and European Championships as well as three World Cup Finals and countless Grand Prix. However, what is so special about working with horses?

A connection to horses since childhood!

Do you know the feeling when you do something and then it doesn't let you go? Marcus had his first contact with horses over 30 years ago and since then these animals have accompanied him through his life. Whether it is about his varied everyday life, in which he looks after and trains over 40 horses on his own farm, or about his active participation in the big tournaments, where he jumps for the medals. Here you will get an exciting insight into the everyday life of an Olympic champion!

The kitchen at Ehning's home

Extravagant colours and a mixture of materials or rather a kitchen in harmonious and natural tones. Marcus Ehning describes the kitchen in his house, reveals what is particularly important to him when planning a kitchen and why he chose this kitchen for the shoot.
