A look inside the Wolfs’ dream kitchen

Home is a feeling – and Maren and Tobias Wolf show how beautifully this feeling comes to life in their custom Nolte kitchen. Between family moments, creative work and an eye for detail, they have created a space where warm wood, clean lines and personality come together in perfect harmony.

Maren and Tobias, please introduce yourselves briefly!

I am Maren Wolff. I'm a mom, married and have been on social media for 16 years. And I'm Tobias Wolff, dad and content creator for almost five years now. Maren introduced me to this world a bit. I also love motorsport, am tech-savvy and have a good eye for detail.

Maren, how did you get into social media? What was your path?

I didn't actually want to work directly in the creator area, but behind the camera - as an editor. I was looking for a way to get there, but I had to learn the basics first. YouTube was perfect for that: shooting your own videos, editing, uploading and getting feedback. And now, 16 years later, here we are!

And what was it like for you, Tobias?

After my vocational baccalaureate, I slipped into an apprenticeship in the traditional way. Towards the end, I met Maren and started working full-time. The problem was that we hardly had any time for each other - she traveled a lot for work and I used all my vacation days to see her.

From video diaries to dream kitchens:

A common path

Tell us how you experienced those early days!

Maren: I started with social media in 2009 and met my husband in 2012 - a truly cinematic love story. We met at his work and found each other. I actually wanted to go to America on a one-way ticket in December to develop my skills behind the camera. But after four months of a relationship, I didn't want to be away for so long and came back. In 2013, we decided to take off together. Tobi quickly took a liking to it and supported me intensively.

Tobias: It was a bit risky for me at the beginning because I didn't know what to expect as I wasn't yet self-employed. But that's when self-employment started!

What was it like for you to be in front of the camera together at first?

Maren: Working with my husband was the moment when I learned to love my job even more. He always supported me - that boosted my self-confidence and my creativity. We started our video diary together and continued to grow on YouTube. Then Instagram came along and Tobi became a permanent part of the team. That was really nice.

Tobias: I think everyone has problems being in front of the camera at first because it's new. I was very reserved, always watched what I was saying and wasn't as relaxed as usual.
Over time, that settled down. It's only in front of other people's cameras that I'm still a bit reserved at first, until I get back into the routine.

What were your ideas when you started out in the business? Do you still have dreams?

Maren: I was lucky enough to turn my passion into a career - it means that work never feels like work. It's a privilege to enjoy being creative and at the same time be in control. I love taking photos, planning and organizing. I used to want to be an editor, but now I'm everything in one: director, videographer and photographer. I couldn't live out my creativity any better.

Tobias: My big dream was to drive the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring myself - to actually sit behind the wheel. I fulfilled this dream twice: in 2021 and 2022, I was at the start, drove the race and crossed the finish line. And I would love to do it again.

How exactly does the 24-hour race work, Tobias? How did you experience these intense hours?

This race is all about the challenge: enduring 24 hours with the team - there are four of us - and pushing yourself to your physical limits. The journey is the goal and when you finally arrive, you are simply relieved and happy. We sometimes sit in the car for two hours or more at a time - that saps your strength. But that's exactly what I'm looking for. That's the attraction for me.

How long have you been active in motorsport?

I've been involved in motorsport since I was a child. At some point, it became too expensive for my parents, so I had to stop. But I knew that as soon as I started earning my own money, I would start again. I never thought it would turn out like this. I'm glad I took the risk back then and went down this path with Maren. I never thought it would turn out exactly like this.

How is your content structured on social media?

Maren: For us, it's like this: we show our life as it is - authentic and close to everyday life. When it comes to building a house, Tobi usually talks a bit more because he was more involved. We enjoy being creative together, are inspired by current trends and are always up for a bit of fun. This house is where I find my creativity at its best - we often sit together, talk, exchange ideas and discuss everything. It's a great way to balance work and family life.

Where do you get your inspiration from?

Maren: I actually let Tobi plan a lot and give him a free hand. Unfortunately, I didn't always listen to him in our old house and regretted it afterwards. In our current house, he did a lot of the planning, including the kitchen. I then chose the furniture and we complemented each other very well.

Creativity meets function:

How the Nolte dream kitchen was created

When Maren and Tobias talk about their kitchen, you can immediately sense how much passion has gone into this space.
They wanted a kitchen that not only looks good, but also works in everyday family life. Natural materials, light wood fronts and a generous cooking island were particularly important to them - combined with practical details such as two fridges and an ergonomically positioned dishwasher.
The result is a perfect balance of design and functionality, realized with the diverse design options of Nolte Küchen.

And how did you then go about planning the kitchen?

Tobias: When we asked ourselves how we could implement our kitchen and who would be the right partner, Nolte was at the top of the list. Our expectations were even exceeded because, to be honest, we were initially a bit at a loss when it came to kitchens. In the showroom, we were then gripped by enthusiasm: we were completely overwhelmed by the variety of materials and the incredible selection. Maren really blossomed there and at that moment I knew: this is the right place for us!

Maren: There really is everything from A to Z, in every variation and design. It feels like there are no limits - just what you need for thoughts and ideas to be realized.

Which elements were particularly important to you in the design?

Maren: The look was particularly important to me: a beautiful, bright kitchen with a warm wooden front and a large cooking island. Tobi, as a sorting and organizing person, took care of the storage space. He also came up with the idea of two fridges and a dishwasher at a comfortable working height. I think that together with Nolte we have created our absolute dream kitchen.

Is there anything else missing, what would you add to the room planning?

Maren: I think our overall room concept is already very nice, but I think we're still missing a few accessories to create a cozy atmosphere. If we add that, we will have made this house our "home"!

A space to live - and love

For the Wolfs, their kitchen is more than just a place to cook.
It is a meeting place for the family, a creative retreat and a stage for joint projects.
With Nolte Küchen, they have created a space that perfectly reflects their style and values - a home full of life, warmth and personality.
