A home with style and heart

Müjde Tekin on her dream kitchen from Nolte

Interior lover and Instagram creator Müjde Tekin (@lifetime.home) has fulfilled her dream of owning her own home - she wanted it to be modern, elegant and warm. On her account, she inspires over 16,000 followers with ideas for living, DIY and everyday tips.

Her Nolte kitchen combines functionality and design: plenty of storage space, timeless elegance and the striking combination of lava soft matt and bronze cabinetry make it the heart of the house. The utility room was also planned with Nolte - practical, well thought-out and perfect for everyday family life.

Modern kitchen meets warm minimalism

This style of living stands for modern clarity, natural materials and homely warmth. Clear lines and high-quality surfaces create a calm, harmonious atmosphere - typical of interior design in the minimalist style.

Warm wood tones, soft shades of beige and natural materials lend the rooms depth and comfort. Smooth fronts, a marble look and black accents create an elegant, timeless look. Generous window fronts, fine fabrics and a minimalist design bring lightness and calm to the overall picture.

The result is a modern kitchen that perfectly combines style and function - elegant, cozy and inviting at the same time.

You yourself are active on Instagram with over 16,000 followers. What makes you and your account special? Who are you and what do you show there?

"Our kitchen is the center of life - this is where we cook, laugh and enjoy every day."

What motivated you to build your own house - and why a new build?

It has always been our dream to build our own house. It was clear from the start that it would be a new build because we wanted to design everything ourselves, from the floor plan to the smallest detail. This allowed us to realize our wishes and create a home that really suits us

How would you describe your interior design style in three words?

Modern, elegant and warm.

What was particularly important to you when planning the kitchen?

Storage space! Especially for kitchen appliances, so that everything has its place. I also wanted the path between the fridge, sink and hob to be practical. Visually, it was important to me that the kitchen was timeless, elegant and easy to clean. As it is the focal point of our home, I integrated display cabinets to give it a more airy feel and connect it to the living and dining area.

Why did you choose Nolte - and what still convinces you today?

Nolte impressed us with its quality, workmanship and the large selection of front colors. I was able to implement my personal style. I still enjoy our kitchen every day. It is timeless, elegant and at the same time absolutely suitable for everyday use.

The kitchen in lava with the bronze display cabinet is a real eye-catcher - how did this color combination come about?

I discovered the cabinet in the Nolte catalog and immediately fell in love with it. It was to be our eye-catcher. Bronze was perfect for this. In combination with lava, it creates a modern, elegant and warm look.

Were there any challenges when building the house or furnishing it that you now look back on with a smile?

Yes, our daughter was born when we moved into the unfinished house. That was a big challenge, but today we look back on it with a smile.

What is your favorite place in the house - and why?

Definitely our open-plan living and dining area. It's airy, bright and spacious - simply the heart of our home.

How has the new home changed your everyday life?

Everything is planned to make our everyday life easier. The open, bright house gives us a feeling of freedom and is a place where we can calm down and enjoy life.

What role does social media play for you when it comes to living and furnishing?

Social media is the perfect platform for me to share my passion. I love inspiring people and showing them what you can do with rooms.

What has been your followers' favorite post around the house so far?

Our kitchen! It's always the highlight online and offline.

Do you have any tips for others who are planning or building a house?

My most important tip is to take your time planning and listen to your gut feeling. Think about what is important to you in everyday life and act accordingly. Inspiration is good, but what counts in the end is that the house suits you.

How did you plan the utility room - were there any clever solutions or storage space ideas that you wouldn't want to do without today?

Here, too, we planned with Nolte and installed a laundry room with lots of storage space. It's incredibly practical, a real must-have in everyday life.

What does life mean to you life in the kitchen?

The kitchen is the heart of our home. It's where we cook, laugh, talk and spend the best time together, a room full of life and security.

A modern living style with personality
