Pizza Margherita

Recipe idea: Pizza MargheritaFor this you will need the following ingredients:

5g yeast, 500g flour, ½ tablespoon salt, tomato sauce, 250g mozzarella, cocktail tomatoes, basil leaves as desired, salt, pepper

Preparation

  1. Pour 300 ml cold water into a bowl, crumble 5 g fresh yeast into the water, and dissolve while stirring. Add 500 g flour and half a tablespoon salt, then knead thoroughly with the dough hook of a hand mixer. Form the dough into a smooth ball. Place the ball into a bowl, cover with a kitchen towel, and let it rest in a warm place for about 1 hour 30 minutes. By then, the dough should have roughly doubled in size.
  2. Dust the work surface with flour and divide the dough into four equal-sized pieces. Then, form each piece into a ball and let rest again for approximately 1 hour.
  3. Roll out each ball into a pizza base and spread with tomato sauce. Add mozzarella and basil as desired. Our tip: add a few cocktail tomatoes for that special touch!
  4. Then slide the pizza onto baking paper and bake in the lower third of the oven (preheated to 250 degrees fan-assisted) for 12-15 minutes.
