Quick Paella

Known and loved everywhere! You can now quickly recreate the national dish of the Valencia region and the Spanish east coast at home!

Recipe idea: Quick PaellaYou will need the following ingredients:

400 g peeled organic frozen shrimps, 200 g roasted, peeled peppers (from the jar), 2 beef tomatoes, 2 garlic cloves, 4 spring onions, 500 g chicken breast fillet, 4 tbsp olive oil, 500 g pre-cooked risotto rice (with saffron), 800 ml fish stock (from the jar), 400 ml vegetable stock, 160 g frozen peas, 4 tbsp Ajvar, salt, pepper, 2 organic lemons

  1. Rinse the frozen Shrimps in a sieve and leave to drain. Drain the roasted peppers and cut them crosswise into thin strips. Wash the tomatoes, quarter them lengthwise, remove seeds and stalk bases, and roughly dice the flesh. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Wash and trim the spring onions, cut into thin rings. Pat the chicken breast fillet dry using kitchen paper, remove skin and tendons. Cut meat into approx. 2 cm cubes.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a wok pan. Fry garlic, spring onions and chicken breast fillet for 2–3 min. at medium heat while stirring. Add pre-cooked saffron risotto rice, fish stock and vegetable broth and stir in. Add peppers, tomatoes and Shrimps with frozen peas to the rice and mix well. Cook the rice at medium heat for approx. 12 min. as per package instructions, stirring well two or three times.
  3. Mix in Aivar and season the paella with salt and pepper. Cut the lemons into eighths and serve with the quick paella.
